Fashion influencer Georgia Louise (@georgia.louise1) introduces her favourite new season pieces, curated for the party season. Hand-picked by Georgia, this partywear edit features everything from glamorous sequins to classic tailoring.
How would you describe your style when it comes to partywear?
“When it comes to partywear I would describe my style as chic, put together and sophisticated. I love outfits which draw your attention such as shoulder pads, an accentuated waist with a belt or some embellishment!”
What was your thought process when curating this edit?
“When curating this edit I wanted to make sure that it really reflected my style whilst also making sure there was something for everyone over the party season. I’ve purposely put a variety of shapes and lengths in there, such as trouser suits, midis, minis and floaty dresses, so everyone can look super chic whilst feeling their most comfortable. Every single piece is something I would absolutely wear, which I think is really important when putting an edit together.”
What do you love most about Autumn/Winter fashion?
“Autumn/winter is one of my favourite seasons for fashion as it’s all about textures, layering and shapes. My favourite part of this season is partywear, it’s a time where I really come alive and can experiment with fashion-led trends, whilst also sticking to really timeless pieces.”
What are your favourite pieces from the edit?
“The toughest question by far! I absolutely love them all and I would feel amazing wearing each and every piece. However, my favourite would have to be the burgundy velvet mini as I love the long sleeves, the high neck and the strong shoulder pads. It’s also the colour of the season.”
“The black sequin cropped blazer and skirt has to come in close second, I have no words for this set other than wow. It’s so beautifully made and can most definitely be worn separately.”
“Third would have to be the crystal mini dress, this is a complete head turner! I love how the straps are adjustable, it’s a stretchy fabric and it sparkles so beautifully. I’d style this with a white blazer over my shoulders and some silver heels.”
“Lastly, it has to be the velvet trouser suit. That blazer is absolutely stunning, I love the contrast piping around the lapels. It’s so versatile and I would wear the blazer all year round, not just for party season.”
